Step 2: Make the Toffee Mixture
In a heavy-bottomed medium saucepan, combine the brown sugar, cubed butter, and corn syrup. Place over medium heat and bring to a rolling boil.
Step 3: Boil and Stir
Once boiling, cook for exactly 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
