Ingredients
For the Filling:
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef (80/20 lean recommended)
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas (burrito size)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
- ½ cup chopped dill pickles
- 1 cup shredded lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
- 1 medium tomato, diced
For the Burger Sauce:
- ¼ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the ground beef and chopped onion. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, breaking the meat apart until fully browned. Drain any excess grease.
Step 2: Season the Meat
Sprinkle in the garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for 1 more minute. Remove from heat.
Step 3: Make the Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard until smooth.
Step 4: Warm the Tortillas
Microwave the tortillas for 10 to 15 seconds to make them soft and easy to fold.
Step 5: Assemble the Wraps
Lay one tortilla flat. Spread a spoonful of burger sauce in the center. Add one-fourth of the beef mixture, then top with cheddar cheese, mozzarella (if using), chopped pickles, diced tomato, and shredded lettuce.
Step 6: Fold the Wraps
Fold the left and right sides inward, then fold the bottom up and roll tightly into a burrito shape. Repeat with the remaining tortillas.
Step 7: Toast the Wraps
Heat a clean skillet over medium heat. Place wraps seam-side down and cook for 1 to 2 minutes until golden brown. Flip and toast the other side until crispy.
Step 8: Serve
Cut in half and serve immediately with extra burger sauce on the side if desired.
Conclusion
Cheeseburger Wraps are the perfect quick meal when you want all the flavors of a juicy burger in an easy handheld form. Crispy outside, cheesy inside, and loaded with fresh toppings, they’re ideal for family dinners, meal prep, or satisfying cravings fast. Once you try them, they’ll become a regular favorite in your kitchen.
